Taftoon bread or taftan is a traditional crispy and flat bread that is made from unleavened dough or slightly raised dough. This bread is prepared from white wholemeal flour, water, salt, industrial yeast or sourdough during fermentation processes and after shaping it is baked on a hot surface.
