Description
Fesenjan or Fesenjoon stew also known as Fesujan in the past is one of the authentic Iranian stews. Walnut kernels and sour pomegranate paste are used in cooking this stew but pistachio or almond kernel flour sweet and sour pomegranate paste and sour plum paste can also be used as desired along with small pieces of chicken or red meat and it is eaten with rice.
