Description
Lavashka is an Iranian food with a sour and salty taste that is prepared from the concentrated and thickened juice of fruits such as plums apricots plums apples ghee kiwi and the like.
Lavashka is actually a kind of extract taken from fruits which nutritionists call an extract (concentrate) and in Arabic it is called (Qamar al-Din) and is obtained by drying. Drying is one of the simplest and most common methods of food preservation which is as old as human civilization and today is used in different countries in various forms from traditional methods to industrial patterns for drying.
Today due to the development of the food industry the methods of preparing lavashka have also changed and new samples of this product are marketed under health supervision.
